Central America might look spacious at first glance—but in a speedrun format with progressive cards and unstable portals, the map becomes claustrophobic fast. The condensed layout, combined with 5 Expert AI opponents, meant that only the outer edges of the map offered any breathing room.
In this Risk Grand Prix Finals showdown, I managed a 1:58 run, placing 5th overall. I quickly learned that success on this map depended on: - Spawning in corner regions like the far south or northwest - Avoiding early bot interference by hugging the edges - Managing portal chaos while setting up clean elimination chains
With no blizzards, no fog, and tight regional clustering, Central America became a battle of bot control, stack efficiency, and map awareness.
