Game Recap#
I had never played Orbital Objectives before this match, but the layout clicked quickly. I got a clean start with early access to a +3 bonus and a nearby +2 — perfect for early tempo and board presence.
Once I had control of that region, I picked up the first elimination, giving me a bonus card trade and some much-needed momentum.
Then came the key decision: I skipped a card turn. The goal was to delay a trade so I could cash in for a bigger army later — and it worked. The trade I lined up helped set up my final push.
Toward the end of the match, Purple made a play that looked like an elimination run on White — or maybe just an attempt to take more territories and become less of a target. Either way, it didn’t land. White was left vulnerable but still standing.
That was my window.
On the next turn, I finished off White, redeemed their cards, and pushed through unstable portals to clean up the remaining territories needed for 70% domination.
